By using irish-finances.com you agree to the terms below. They're short on purpose — if a clause matters enough to be in legalese, we've tried to write it once, in plain English, instead.
What this site is
irish-finances.com provides general information and calculation tools about Irish personal taxation, employment income, and investments. It is not a regulated financial advice service. We are not authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland and do not hold ourselves out as financial, tax, or investment advisors.

Accuracy and "as-is"
We work hard to keep figures aligned with Revenue.ie and current Irish law. Every cited number links to a source, and a daily job flags drift. Despite that, the tools are estimators — your actual tax liability depends on your individual circumstances, and the law changes. Use the calculators as a starting point, not a final answer. Always verify against your Revenue myAccount and, where the stakes warrant it, talk to a qualified professional.
The site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee that the site is error-free, uninterrupted, or that any specific result will be obtained.
Limit of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Irish law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) this site, including but not limited to lost profits, missed tax deadlines, incorrect filings, or reliance on any figure shown here.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Irish law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to disrupt the service (DDoS, scraping at a rate that affects other users, etc.)
- Reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell the site or its content as a competing product. Personal and informational use is fine; mass-extraction for republication is not.
Intellectual property
The content of this site is © irish-finances.com. The source code is published under an open-source licence on GitHub. Tax figures and legislative references are public information; we don't claim copyright on those.
You're welcome to link to any page. Quoting up to ~150 words with attribution is fine; for longer extracts please email us first.
Third-party links and tools
Pages link to external sites — Revenue, gov.ie, Citizens Information, news outlets, and others. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or availability. Always check the destination's own terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be flagged on the home page for a week.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
